The last 24 hours have been crazy. People loved my Family Tree; it is currently the #1 project on 2Peas in both views and votes. Pretty wild, and virtually unheard of for a digital project. I’m so proud!
Due to some requests, I’ve started an Etsy shop to sell custom trees, so if you’re interested, go check it out!
I was also featured on a great blog today, by Crystal Rieger. She’s a contributing editor at Memory Makers magazine, a former Memory Makers Master, and her SECOND book (on using, improving, and actually liking your handwriting) will be released in June. I so need that.
In other news, S is home from work today, so we can hopefully get all the shopping done for K’s birthday this weekend. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute, right? Poor girl has had a rough couple of weeks: the “undiagnosed” became strep. [Why they didn’t test for that in the first place is a huge mystery. Right up there with who was on the grassy knoll.]
She passed out, or maybe had a seizure, which led to an ER visit. [Her nurse there was Jill Stevens. You know, the army girl who was in the Miss America pageant? America’s Choice? She was super nice, and gave Kelsey a picture with a very kind message.
On Monday she fell at school, which prompted another visit, to an x-ray machine this time. No cast, but she’s in a brace for the next week. Seriously, no more!
