Butterfly Fields Forever…

Kelsey turned eight over the weekend. She’s acting around 20, so we’re in trouble.

Signs that she’s getting older:
She can now stay up until 8:30 on school nights.
She doesn’t have to use a booster seat anymore, according to the state. I don’t anticipate her getting out of it too soon… tough luck, K!
She’ll be getting baptized, but wants to wait for her uncle to get home from his mission.
She wrote a book a couple of weeks ago. Really.

This was the off-year for parties, so we just had family (that lives close by and has exhibited an interest in attending, thank-you-very-much-Colleen) over for cupcakes, and an all-girl sleepover. It was a night of nail polish, movies, and scrapbooking; is she my girl or what? I crashed at 2 AM, and Kelsey and Livi were still going strong! Here’s a few pics of the fun:

How did you know I would mention something about not being included in the family?? 🙂 Looks like she had tons of fun! Cute cupcakes, BTW!
